Funding
In response to a statewide need for Missouri photo IDs and birth certificates, the MO ID Access Coalition raised funds to offer subgrants for groups doing direct ID and birth certificate work across the state. These direct programs support individuals with the application process, help to identify needed underlying documents, and cover the cost of the documents when needed. The Coalition not only provides low-barrier funding, but also provides tools, resources, coaching, training and on-going support for funded programs. Funded organizations implement different models of service, including one-time clinics, ongoing clinics, and services provided as needed to an organization’s existing clients.
