2025 Coalition Membership

Eligibility

Coalition Membership is open to individuals, groups, or organizations who recognize the need for state-issued photo identification for all Missourians and are committed to removing systemic barriers. Membership is free and open to anyone who shares the Coalition’s values and is ready to help change the ID landscape in Missouri. You can read more about the coalition and our values here.

Benefits

As a member of the Coalition, you are guaranteed the following benefits:

  1. Amplify Your Advocacy: Join a unified voice advocating for ID access for all Missourians. We’ll represent our shared interests and keep you informed on our work to move the Coalition’s goals forward.

  2. Join a Collective Network: Connect with a diverse community of organizations and advocates with similar interests and goals. Coalition membership offers opportunities to build partnerships, exchange ideas, and collaborate on initiatives.

  3. Influence Strategic Direction: Help shape the Coalition’s advocacy priorities and strategies, and join committee work to lead or contribute to these initiatives.

  4. Elevate Your Visibility and Recognition: Members are regularly invited to share their work and will be featured in the Coalition’s publications, website, and social media. You will also have the opportunity to present at events and amplify your work.

  5. Stay Informed with Timely Updates and Alerts: Members receive regular updates on policy developments, legislative actions, and opportunities to engage in advocacy opportunities.

  6. Build Capacity with Access to Free Resources and Ongoing Education: Receive complimentary access to the annual statewide ID Access Summit, along with advocacy, networking and education events. Members will gain access to research, data, toolkits, and other resources that empower your advocacy efforts and deepen your understanding of key issues in ID access.

Expectations

As a member of the Coalition, you commit to the following expectations:

  1. Timely Communication: Respond to communications on and ensure clear communication between yourself or your organization, and the Coalition.

  2. Monthly Meeting Attendance and Coalition Participation: Attend more than half of the monthly Coalition meetings throughout the year. Members are strongly encouraged to join at least one committee to help move the work forward. 

  3. Sustaining the Coalition: Actively contribute to sustaining the work of the Coalition by sharing ideas and expertise, engaging in Coalition activities, or supporting resource development.

  4. Fostering Community: Participate in building and sustaining a sense of community amongst members and ensure that the work is life-giving to the fullest extent possible.
